Hello, and welcome to our site. Your cyber-journey has brought you to the home page for Local 227 of the American Postal Workers Union. Our offices are located in New Castle, Pennsylvania, serving the areas in the western part of the state with zip codes 160, 161 and 162. This site is maintained primarily for the use of our local and other postal union members and strives to make readily available all the information pertinent to the organization. However, we hope other unions find it useful and informative, too. A special thanks to the Pennsylvania Postal Workers' Union and its president, Fran Friel, for enabling locals within the State Organization to have a web presence like this one, free of charge, in the continuing effort to promote unionism and solidarity.
