Katrina Nusbaum Local: Charleston, WV Area Local #133, APWU PLUSS Instructor: 8 years
atrina has been an active member of the Charleston WV Area Local since 1994 as both a steward and an officer. She spent the first part of her Postal Career at a Remote Encoding Center working as a Data Conversion Operator. She currently works in the Kanawha City station in Charleston WV as a Distribution and Window Clerk. Katrina has held several offices in her Local and State organizations. Among her many responsibilities, Katrina currently holds the office of President of the West Virginia Postal Workers Union. She also serves as an Arbitration Advocate for the Eastern Region and is a steward of the Charleston, WV Area Local. 2008 will mark Katrina's 8th year on the PLUSS teaching staff, and she has enjoyed every one of them. For 2008, barring last-minute changes, Katrina will be teaching the "Handbooks and Manuals" class along with Joe Szocki and the "Your Grievance at Arbitration" class. Katrina has two beautiful daughters, ages 11 and 19, two huge dogs (Buddy and Tramp).
