Mike, I don't see us doing holiday scheduling, overtime scheduling or prime-time vacation scheduling either...however the membership will ultimately be given their voice to determine what we will actually do in that area, if the agreement is ratified. Personally, I beleive if we were dealing with a management group at the district and local level that used "integrity" as their guiding light, it could be benificial to both our membership and managment for us to take over those duties. However, with the total lack of integrity being demonstated from most of management at the district and local level, I don't see this as being a reality...besides with the continual denial of steward time to handle current grievances, why should we believe we'd be given time to handle the scheduling of the topics listed above? Maybe we could take them home to work on also! I'll respond to the casual portion of your question in a day or two. Dave
