Just a brief note to inform you that local elections are taking place in March of this year. Nominations will be accepted at the February meeting and an election commitee is to be named at the January general membership meeting. A sign-up for members interested in serving on the election commitee has been posted on APWU bulletin boards...a total of three committee members are needed. Note: A member of the election commitee is not eligible to also run for office, so please to not sign up if you plan on running for a local union position. Thank you for your consideration. Dave
