First of all, I'm a registry room clerk and an officer, but WASN'T present at the scene when the incident occured. And as I understand it, only one other person was, so all that's being said and surmised is pure speculation, or a one-sided story. However, I can assure you that the union room is a pressure cooker and some of the pressure is caused by the membership themselves. One good way to make it even harder for those who do give up their time to "serve" the rest of you is to NOT volunteer to help out. Exactly how much work do you think just a handful of people can do?? This is also not the forum for derogatory remarks......that place is in the privacy of a union meeting. Management everywhere feeds on any internal problem it can sniff out within any local. Why don't you come to the next union meeting to air your concerns? And, as I always say when the opportunity arises....if you had strong enough convictions about what you type here, you would sign your name.
