A big "Thank You" to Local 227 for sending me to the All-Craft Conference this past week in Las Vegas. It was the largest one ever, with some 2300 participants, and was a great experience. Many people send their best wishes back to our Local. We're all in the struggle together, and what feels like our own special brand of problems in New Castle are duplicated across the whole country, over and over and over again. We're to encourage everyone to go to our local meetings, sign-up non-members and new members, support the AFL-CIO, contribute to COPA, and get more interested in our nation's politics as we seek to find friends of the postal employee and the labor unions at all levels of govenment. We need every member rowing the boat to keep our Union strong as it works 24-7 for each one of us. Our next meeting is November 19th....please come and support YOUR union. Thanks again.
