Numerous projects over the course of the last couple weeks have been juggled by only a handful of people related to our mission to derail the possible closing of the New Castle Post Office. Even though those individuals have done a wonderful job with limited help it will not be enough without access to more helping hands. The framework for sucess in our mission has been set...but we need every potentially impact employee, their family and friends to play some role in the mission if victory is to be ours. Personally, I find it totally unbelievable that so many employees currently are setting on the sidelines and not offering to take part in some way...some have even flat out refused when ask to help! Could someone help me to understand that type of "Apathy" regarding the possible loss of their place of employment? THE REALITY OF THE SITUATION IS THIS: IT MAY BE TO LATE TO JUMP INTO HELP IF THE DECISION TO CLOSE IS THE RESULT OF THE FEASABILTY STUDY TEAM. Please reconsider your misplaced thought process and offer to DO YOUR PART NOW while we still have an opportunity to have an impact PRIOR to the decision being rendered. Thanks for at least listening to my point of view.
